Product Description

Acetate Tow (Cellulose Diacetate Tow) is regenerated cellulose filament tow produced from natural wood pulp or cotton linter. The raw cellulose undergoes acetylation to form cellulose diacetate, followed by dissolution, dry spinning, crimping and setting processes. The monofilament has a Y-shaped cross-section with large specific surface area, excellent moisture absorption and adsorption capacity. It features moderate filtration resistance and soft taste, widely used as premium filter material for cigarette filters. It is biodegradable and also applicable in air and liquid filtration.
